International and Local Communications Leaders join the Down Under Comms Connect program in October

04-08-2022

Managing Director of the NSW Telco Authority Kylie de Courteney will deliver the opening keynote at Comms Connect Melbourne on 19 October, following her recent presentation at Critical Communications World in Vienna in June; and the Hon Michelle Rowland MP, Minister for Communications will formally open the event. The second keynote for day one will feature the CTO of the First Responders Network USA, Richard Reed, with an update on all things related to public safety comms from the other side of the Pacific.

Day two keynotes will feature Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons from Resilience NSW (the future of disaster management) and one of the leaders of the newly formed NGCC in NZ, Neal Richardson. This will lead in to a panel discussion on NZ’s new public safety network’s journey so far, featuring ambulance, fire and police agencies.

Comms Connect is supported by industry partners ARCIA (their Gala Dinner will be held at the event, on 19 October), and ACCF/TCCA.

Over 80 local and international vendors will feature on the exhibition floor, headlined by event partner Nokia and platinum sponsors Hypha and Simoco Wireless Solutions.

Early Bird registrations for the conference are now open, and free expo passes are also available.

According to the organizers, the conference program is 80% complete.
